Author’s Guide for Initial Submission
Paper Types
ICCAS 2020 Classic accepts:
  • Regular Paper: (Submission is completed.) This is the standard submission type consisting of 3~6 pages. The authors can choose their preferred presentation style between the lecture (oral)  or the interactive (poster), and can choose whether their paper is uploaded/indexed to IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS, and Ei Compendex.
  • Invited Paper for Organized Session: (Only as a Late-breaking Result Paper) Everything is the same as the Regular Paper except that the author should be invited by a session organizer. When the paper submission is made, the authors have to submit the Session Code that the organizer will deliver one week before the submission deadline. See /?page_id=111 for details.
  • Late-breaking Result Paper: This type of paper is collected just before the conference in order to include the late-breaking outcomes in the conference program. The paper should consist of 1~2 pages. This type of paper is not to be uploaded/indexed to IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS, and Ei Compendex, and the presentation style is the interactive poster only.

If the subject of your paper belongs to one of the Focused Tracks, then you are encouraged to submit to the Focused Track, which accepts

  • Regular Paper: (Submission is completed.) The same as above. When you submit your paper, simply choose the corresponding Focused Track.
  • Late-breaking Result Paper: The same as above. When you submit your paper, simply choose the corresponding Focused Track.

If you are an invited speaker by one of the Focused Track chairs, then you have to submit:

  • Invited Talk Summary: (Submission is completed.) The invited speaker should submit 1~6 pages of Talk Summary. The Talk Summary is not uploaded/indexed to IEEE Xplore, SCOPUS, and Ei Compendex. The Talk Summary can become a regular paper if it contains a new result that is not published nor being reviewed for publication elsewhere. In this case, the Talk Summary is treated the same as the Regular Paper while its presentation style is the lecture (oral).
Formatting Your Paper

The paper should be of A4 size, typed in two columns with single spacing in English. Only PDF (Portable Document Format) files are acceptable.

Submission Guide

ICCAS 2020 uses the Conference Management Toolkit (CMT3) by Microsoft. A guide to the paper submission is available. Please download and follow the GUIDE TO PAPER SUBMISSION.

When you are ready to submit, please go to the submission site:
https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/20thICCAS2020/

*** Since the paper management system is changed from the previous ICCAS, all users need to register again to CMT3 unless the author already has an account at CMT3. CMT3 maintains the same account for all the conferences that the system handles.

*** Since the email address is the user id in CMT3, please prepare the email addresses of all co-authors when you submit as a corresponding author.
